We live in a time where everyone is trying to stand out.
The marketplace is noisy. The scroll never ends.
But here's the truth: the market is never crowded when you show up as your full self—with clarity, purpose, and presence.
That’s why I created something I call The Personal Branding Triangle.
It’s a framework I’ve used not only to help others build their personal brands, but to shape my own journey as a creative, a photographer, and a thought leader.
The triangle consists of three essential parts:
Your Story
Your Services
Your Packaging
Let me break it down—and share how each piece changed everything for me.
The Foundation of It All - Your Story
Before the clients, before the confidence, before any act of service—there’s a story.
I didn’t always know I had one worth telling.
When I first picked up a camera, I was lost. I didn’t have a plan. But what I did have was a skateboard, a natural eye, and a desire to express what I felt inside.
Skateboarding was my channel to storytelling.
It taught me rhythm, timing, grit—and most importantly, that style matters. Not just in how you land a trick, but in how you move through life.
That became the beginning of my story.
I realized I wasn’t just a photographer—I was a documentarian of people’s transformations.
Whether it's a headshot, a branding session, or a portrait for a personal milestone, my camera became a tool to capture stories waiting to be told.
When you’re building your personal brand, start here.
Who are you?
Why do you do what you do?
What have you overcome or embraced that makes your perspective unique?
That’s your anchor.
That’s your foundation.
Your Purpose in Action - A.K.A Your Services
Once your story is clear, the next question is: Who do you serve?
For me, it became clear that I wanted to serve entrepreneurs, professional creatives, small business owners, and brands—big or small—that are passionate about making a lasting impression.
I help them elevate their visual presence.
I provide headshots, editorial portraits, and commercial images—but what I really deliver is transformation.
My photography is more than just images you hold in your hand. It’s an experience. It’s how people see you—and how you begin to see yourself.
One thing I’ve learned:
when you're building your personal brand, resist the temptation to be everything to everyone.
Find your lane.
Serve with heart and intention.
Your services are the bridge between who you are and the value you provide.
How You Show Up Matters - Your Packaging
This is the part many people overlook. You have the story. You know your service. But now—it’s time to package it.
Packaging is more than aesthetics.
It’s how you dress, how you speak, how you show up online and offline.
It’s your website, your social content, your videos, your demeanor at a networking event.
It’s the feeling people get when they interact with your brand.
Early in my journey, I leaned into this without even knowing it.
I started filming videos of local creatives and small business owners.
I told their stories. That was packaging. That was presence.
Even then, I was showing people that I care, that I listen, and that I want to make them look and feel unforgettable.
Your packaging doesn’t have to be perfect, but it does need to be aligned.
When your visuals, your voice, and your values all tell the same story—you become magnetic.
Why This Triangle Changed Everything for Me
This Personal Branding Triangle helped me go from being another creative in a sea of many, to becoming a name that gets mentioned in rooms I haven’t even stepped into yet.
Clarity attracts opportunities.
Consistency builds reputation.
Packaging earns trust.
By anchoring in my story, refining who I serve, and learning how to package my brand clearly and consistently, I started attracting the right clients—and most importantly, creating real impact.
If you’re feeling unclear, scattered, or invisible—come back to this triangle. Your story matters. Your service is needed. And your packaging is how the world will recognize it.
Final Thoughts
Your personal brand is not something you create overnight. It’s something you become. It’s a reflection of who you are, what you believe, and how you serve. And if you do the inner work, the outer results will follow.
So ask yourself:
Have I fully owned my story?
Am I clear on who I serve?
And am I showing up in a way that reflects the best of what I offer?
Because when you do, you don’t just stand out in the market—you become unforgettable.
Let the triangle guide you.
