Hey friends,
There’s something about change that humbles you.
Sometimes it comes like a storm — fast and loud. Other times, it’s subtle and slow. You don’t always realize you're in it until you’re looking around and everything feels different — because you are different.
Lately, I’ve found myself in one of those transitions.
Not just a new space. But a shift in how I see myself. My creativity. My purpose. My pace.
One thought keeps coming back to me:
"As soon as you reach the top of one mountain, you’re standing at the bottom of the next."
That line… it really stays with you.
Life is full of transitions. Seasons that bring joy and love. Seasons that bring discipline and growth. Each one is part of the journey. And through all of it, I’ve been learning how to sit with this moment. To not run from it. To not rush through it. To honor it.
And if you're reading this while going through your own version of change, I want you to know you're not alone. Here's what's been on my heart lately.
On Creating Through Transition
The other day, while driving, I had to pull over. A question hit me out of nowhere:
"Am I creating with purpose — or just trying to meet a deadline?"
That question stayed with me.
I realized I’ve been so used to having a plan, a structure, a path — that not having a detailed step-by-step this time felt... unfamiliar. But also freeing.
Right now, I’m walking into a new season — and I don’t have it all figured out. But I do have faith. I’m letting this season teach me how to trust. How to move from intuition instead of pressure.
Because sometimes, the plan is just to be — and let the next step reveal itself in time.
The Power of Being Present
Being present has become my quiet practice lately.
It’s not always easy — especially when your mind wants to race ahead or solve everything. But presence is what keeps me grounded.
Whether I’m spending time with my family, catching up with a friend, sharing silence with my partner, or just having a conversation with myself — I’m learning to be fully there.
At 27, I’m starting to understand that life doesn’t always need a big moment to be meaningful. Sometimes it’s the in-between spaces that shape you the most.
Be Gentle With Yourself
If you're in a season of transition too — be gentle with yourself.
You don’t have to know every answer right now. You don’t have to carry it all.
Let this be the season where you soften — even while you grow. Where you allow yourself to become — even if you don’t know exactly what you’re becoming yet.
I’m working on new videos, new projects, and some things I’m still figuring out behind the scenes. But I’m also letting this be a season of grace. A slower, deeper becoming.
To those of you who’ve supported me, encouraged me, or simply read this far — thank you. From the heart.
I hope this lands with whoever needed it today. And if that’s you, remember:
Your transition is not meant to break you. It’s meant to build you.
Keep your head up. Rest when you need to. And don’t forget — you’re becoming something beautiful.
🎥 A New Chapter: Vlogging My Photography Journey
As part of this season of transition, I’ve decided to do something new — something that feels honest to where I am creatively.
I picked up my camera and started vlogging. No script. No elaborate plan. Just me, documenting the real, behind-the-scenes moments of my photography journey.
My first vlog is called “A Day with Joseph Baldwin” — and it’s exactly that: a raw, unfiltered look at how I prep for shoots, collaborate, and create. This is the beginning of something more intentional — sharing more of the process, not just the polished final images.
